Again was my first album (or perhaps technically second - a handful of misprinted copies of the Last Visible Dog CDR made it out first). It's a little patchy but the good bits are as good as anything I've done since. It has bit of an odd sound, perhaps because of the digital transfer process. A Digital8 video camera was the medium used to get the recordings from cassette into a video editing programme on the Screen & Media Department's Power Mac.

This was all done pretty much in isolation. As far as I knew I was the noise scene in Hamilton at that time, Armpit, Pumice and Negative Eh/Nova Scotia having left before or soon after I arrived in town. I did sometimes have Sonic Youth-y jams with my friend Steve Dalton and I can hear that it's his guitar and amp I am playing on "Handle/Static". Stratocasters always make me want to shred and that phenomenon is in evidence here.
