This felt like an important album and I had grand ambitions for it. It HAD to be a double LP. Then I lost all perspective on it, swung to thinking it was no good and sat on it for a couple of years. It's an album "about" ups and downs so appropriate I guess. In the end I decided it was ok and settled on the only format I could actually afford - CDR. Whatever its merits, I put my heart and soul into this one. Listening today, it's pretty good if not listened to obsessively and hyper-critically on headphones dozens of times in a row!
